24-Hour Incident or Injury Reporting Policy for All Employees
No one plans on getting hurt or injured. Unfortunately, it does happen sometimes. As an employee of Beaver Creek and Vail Resorts, your health and safety are extremely important to us. If you are injured at work—or experience any pain, strain, soreness, or discomfort related to your job—the requirement is that you report it to a supervisor or manager as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours after the incident.
Timely incident reporting ensures we can respond quickly, document the incident, and provide the care and support you may need. Even issues that seem minor at first can become more serious if not addressed early, which is why immediate communication is so important.
We genuinely care about your well‑being, and prompt communication helps us support you effectively.
For more info, this company policy is outlined in the Vail Resorts Instructor Handbook. Of course, you can also reach out to your supervisor or manager with any questions.
