PSIA-AASI CS1 & CS2

To attain Children's Specialist 1 (CS1) and 2 (CS2) follow these steps: 

• CS1 requires alpine, snowboard, adaptive or telemark level 1

• Attend in-house training. We offer clinics to help you prepare for CS1 and CS2 on Mondays (on snow), and on Wednesdays (indoors). Please be sure to sign up in advance and ask your supervisor for scheduled time off when you attend training. 

• Complete Children's Specialist 1 E-learning module

• Pass Children's Specialist 1 assessment

• CS2 requires alpine, snowboard, adaptive or telemark level 2 + CS1 or equivalent knowledge*

• Complete Children's Specialist 2 Workbook and Quiz

• Children's Specialist 2 Prep (optional)

• Pass both Children's Specialist 2 module assessments

*CS1 or equivalent knowledge and experience such as:

• CS1 foreign equivalent

• Teaching certificate in elementary education

• Masters in elementary education
